Finally manning to retire monday

I did too. I thought I had prepared myself for this moment as we have known for a while this would be his last at least in Denver. STill to now reflect on these last 4 years and the ride we have been on is just incredible. Whether you have liked him or not with the Broncos he has made us one of the most relevant teams in the entire league. No team has done more in the last 4 years than the Broncos in my opinion.

Me too Cd. Just knowing your not going to hear all the hype before a " Brady vs Manning " match up ever again or Manning goes to Indy,etc is very humbling and surreal. A HUGE part of what has made this game so great, is gone forever. We will never see the likes of Manning again. Sad. Very.

Well, guess this means the Broncos will be putting old #18 back into cryo-storage.

It was a LOT of fun watching Manning play for the Broncos. Was definitely a lot more fun than watching him against the Broncos.

Sorry I didn't tear up for it but I do if my son does something great. I can't feel happy or sad for a athlete making millions that doesn't know me or I know them. It's entertainment to me for the most part. Guess I'm just a different cat then some but very understandable and Manning did make these four years as a Broncos fan more interesting to watch. That I can't deny. Peace.

I didn't see that, but it's not too surprising. This isn't the worst place in the world to raise a family

I think he also has houses in Florida and Tennessee - maybe he can rent them part of the year through VRBO if cash gets tight!

Now I do know before this they had the rule that a player must play 5 years with the Broncos to qualify for the ring of fame. Always an exception to the rule though and Manning is that.
