Absolutely. Combine a good coach with great recruiting... and you have a great recipe for success.

He did a great job at UofL, so I expect he'll do great at Texas. Recruiting as never been an issue for them.

The kid... Matt Jones is a stud out of Ohio. #1 OG in OH and #3 in the region.

Reading tonite that Antonio Howard's boy will not be a member of the 2015 class. WVU has pulled their offer.

Rumor that he will go to Marshall, so maybe it has something to do with academic qualification.

You hit it on the head.....he had some big time offers going into this recruiting process, but the rumor on the street was he did not do the work in the classroom....I was really pulling for this kid, he is blazing fast. I think he will be solid where ever he goes, hoping at this point he picks UCF over Marshall.

From what I am hearing, Howard is an academic casualty and will likely end up at Marshall. Not that big of a loss though as we appear to really be stacked at DB.

Last I heard, WVU is on a few RB's final list. Cronkite and Walton from FL... Miami area... and Vaughn from Nashville, TN.

WVU may not get a RB recruit this year... which could be trouble down the road...

Don't forget about the Lindsay kid from Martinsburg. While he is only a 2 star, that is affected by the fact that he played in WV and did not have the competition. We also have 3 redshirts form last year including DTW. This class is also short on Linebackers which worries me more down the road.

I don't think the Lindsay kid was recruited for RB... he is listed as a DB recruit.

Looking at the RB's.... I have heard Garrison will not be returning. Buie is a question mark. Shell and Smallwood are Jr's, and DTW will be a reshirt Fr. Once Shell and Smallwood graduate, WVU will have DTW with experience.
