I am excited for Brian to be OC. Obviously, daddy being HC had something to do with him getting the position, but I do think he is qualified. Injuries cut his NFL career really short, 3 years under Belichick, and 5 at Iowa.

He seems like he will be less predictable, but Iowa's offense will be built around RB Wadley. Might be better to be predictable this season.

Not sure how to feel about that. Outside of struggling with grades, he brought a lot of positive to Iowa. I think his downsides were involved with being underclass.

What is interesting, he was almost the opposite of Jay Scheel. Smith had what you wanted in a WR but lacked a little extra effort. Scheel didn't have that athleticism but fought for every inch. Both ended up being okay WRs. Both are not Hawkeye football players anymore.
