FEB 16 > Sitcom Draft

have to admit, I had a few others higher on my board than Selina Meyer, but the combo of Ron Swanson, government hating government worker paired up with a career politician was too much to pass up on.

also wanted to start my draft out with a good RB and a good WR, should give me some more flexibility later in the draft, fingers crossed

I was strongly debating on selena Meyer... thought she would last longer as it is a more recent sitcom...

yea, hate to be THAT guy, but I find it pretty rare that the women characters make me laugh in most sitcoms, and I think it has a lot to do with the actual actress. Loved Elaine, and she's been great on Veep.

side story, since this is the thread for it, Julia Louis-Dreyfus gave the commencement speech at my bro-in-law's graduation from Northwestern, and was great at that too.

I've honestly never been that big of a South Park fan. It certainly has it's moments, but having a 2 year old and 4 year old myself, the last thing I want to watch is a bunch of kids being little assholes.

Real kid. Lol. The kids are in third grade for most of the series. Now they are in 4th.

oh, and the biggest steal of this draft was Lucy at 6... IMO, she was the obvious #1 pick...

From the dialog on here it's pretty obvious that we all have our own special taste in comedy. .... a lot of those chosen so far aren't even on my personal 'list' of 60+, I think maybe 4 have been taken. But, then again, the ones on my list probably aren't on many others either. ..... just find it very interesting. ....

idk... its weird, shows like How I met your mother, I didn't love... But Barney, is one of the best characters in sitcoms... often, the better sitcoms, don't have that one standout character to steal the show, while some lesser ones focus a lot of energy to that one character, even if he/she/it is not the main character...

Had Cartman still been there fer me I would have grabbed him and hoped the one I want was still there on the way back.................Charlie, Cartman and the one I wanna grab would be perfect fer my team................but I was 90% sure Milk was taking Cartman and if not Milk, I thought Will would. Regardless, I think I'll get the one I want so on to plan B...............which was actually plan A until Cartman started to fall...........

She was my second if Michael Scott was gone.
