The Q
Hoop’s Villain, Reality’s Hero
Ok, I just realized I forgot the Dark Knight. Which would slot in ahead of the Captain America's.
Story was legit. I just couldn't get past how horrible Maguire & Dunst are. They ruined that entire trilogy for me.
Oh shit...Giving this a shot
1. The Winter Soldier
2. The Dark Knight
3. Kickass
4. Civil War
5. Deadpool
6. Logan
7. Avengers 1
8. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (glad someone else brought this up)
9. Batman Begins
10. Hellboy 2
11. Iron Man
12. X-Men: Days of Future Past
13. Batman: Under the Red Hood
14. Ant Man
15. Hellboy
16. Guardians of the Galaxy
17. Watchmen
18. The Dark Knight Rises
19. X2: X-Men United
20. Blade
I think I put Kickass at #12, between GotG and Watchmen.1) Dark Knight
2) Winter Soldier
3) Deadpool
4) IronMan
5) Batman Begins
6) Civil War
7) First Class
8) Logan
9) Avengers
10) X-Men
11) Guardians of the Galaxy
12) Watchmen
13) Unbreakable
14) Superman (Reeves)
15) Spider-Man (Maguire)
16) Batman (Keaton)
17) Blade
18) Ant man
19) Hancock
20) Hulk (Norton)
Ask me again tomorrow and there will be variances, of course, but I think this is pretty good.
I actually thought Maquire was great in the 1st two. Definitely had the nerdy, loser type down pat. Dunst was ok I guess.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is somewhere in between a good movie and a campy awful movie. Its rewatchable for sure but its almost too campy for me. Parts of it are like watching Hellboy and parts of it are like watching The Three Musketeers (2011). I probably wouldn't have an issue with someone putting in their top 25 although top 10 would be kinda silly.Another that I thought was very underrated, but might still have trouble getting onto my list is League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Not well recieved, but I rather enjoyed it.
Also, Mystery Men...

Its been too long since I've seen Mystery Men. I need to watch that again.
Also haven't seen Kickass but somehow managed to see most of Kickass 2 which..eh...
MOTP is just an amazing movie.
I maintain the just by being animated it will forever be historically underrated. You make that a live action movie and it's almost a dead certain top 5 movie for everyone. Which is kinda silly IMO, a good movie is a good movie.
Maguire was a great Peter Parker IMO.
Dunst was just really hot. lol
Not a huge fan of the genre and I haven't seen a lot of the movies on most people's lists so I don't think I'm qualified to give a respectable list. That being said, I was a huge Spiderman fan as a kid and saw all 3 of the Tobey McGuire movies so I just want to make a comment about those.
I realize I'm very much in the minority but I have never understood all the love for Spiderman 2. That one is by far my least favorite of the 3. I just found that it hit way too many of the same beats as the first one, especially as it related to the main villain. I didn't need another brilliant scientist known to and respected by our hero to become the villain despite his good intentions after his project goes terribly wrong.
At least in Spiderman 3 we finally got a real bad guy in Venom. Of course turning into Venom made him even worse than he already was. The other 2 "villains" both turned good at the end (kind of lame) and were somewhat sympathetic characters, but at least they were in their right minds when they did what they did.
