Mine would have to be when we beat the Huskers in the last seconds of the Big Twelve Championship game. My father-in-law was crushed.

I have 3 and can't decide between them. The 2005 BCS NC game.
The 1974 32-3 victory over lil' brother, they were ranked in the Top 10. A cold front came in as the game started and they fumbled 3 times. The score was 17-0 and 2 minutes had elapsed in the game.
The 1977 RRS, we won 13-6. The Sooners knocked out our top 2 QBs and Randy McEachern came in as QB. He wasn't even on the game program. Earl Campbell went 23-126 and had 1 TD.

Mine are all recent history. Have been watching for over a few decades now, but still hard for me to go past 2001.

1) 2005 NC game. Greatest game of all-time.

2) 2004 Rose bowl. Beat a very good Michigan team. Again, Vince took over - and another last second victory. I am also biased, because I was there on the 50 yard line for this one with my dad.

3) 2001 Holiday Bowl. My girlfriend at the time was a Washington fan. Was there with her and all her family watching. Also, Major is maybe my favorite Longhorn ever. Great to see him go out with this one.

** Honorable Mention - 1996. Beating our red-whatever step son in the Big 12 championship. Always remember that 4th and inches call.

Y'all have mentioned some great ones, so I won't repeat them.

I'll put my vote in for the 1998 T-Day+1 game when Ricky broke the all time rushing record. I was one of the students who stood in line all freaking day for my two tickets. Mack Brown won a lot of hearts that day with the pizza. Anyway, the game was amazing, packed to the gills. I'll never forget the buzzy anticipation for the moment and the amount of noise when it finally came. I remember feeling myself screaming but not hearing it because of the overall roar of the crowd.

Oh and one of my favorite @game stories actually comes from the horrendous 2000 OU game. The weather was terrible, rainy and cold, and maybe that's why the student section decided to pack in like 3 people to a numbered seat. We were all standing sideways to the field and packed in tight front to back. At some point, hysteria took over, and we started heckling the Sooners and people leaving the stands. When the OU band lined up in front of us before their halftime show, someone started the chant of, "You third string SUCKS!" When the band informed us that they had the 4th string in, we cheerfully changed it to, "Oh...well then your fourth string SUCKS!" and cheered like we just got a TD. It was a shitty fucking game, but it was still a fun time.
