The Second Circuit Court has granted Ezekiel Elliott a temporary stay of his suspension, and he is eligible to play Week 9 against the Chiefs.

It is effective just for Week 9, so we'll likely go through some more legal drama again next week. This has really become completely ridiculous, but from a pure football standpoint Sundays are more exciting with Elliott on the field. Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden aren't usable in fantasy Sunday.

Leonard Fournette is inactive for Week 9 against the Bengals.

This isn't injury related despite Fournette coming off an ankle sprain. The Jaguars are suspending him for at least this week for breaking team rule. T.J. Yeldon outplayed Chris Ivory in Week 7 when Fournette was sidelined and is the favorite to lead Jacksonville in carries.

judging by how quiet his camp has been this week versus the previous weeks where they kept saying he was going to fight it, I think this one sticks.

DAL wants to get this out of the way in case they make the real playoffs and can get a fully rested Zeke back.

Would imagine that they just want him to serve it at this stage, but would've thought that weeks ago as well.

Well with Jerruh threatening to sue if Goodell is extended Im not sure how much they actually want him to just serve but I get what you are saying.

Word is that the extension will go through even with the threat of the lawsuit.

Disgusted. Hard to back him when he didn't even throw the ball this week. I love the guy, but he is making it harder for me to honestly defend him.

The O line is the absolute worst. The D line is getting manhandled and a terrible MLB makes it difficult to get off the field.

5-2 seems so long go. I have high doubts Peterman makes us better.

somebody reminded the Bills front office that they were in rebuild mode before the season, so they decided to continue to rebuild.

makes zero sense.

even if Tyrod isn't the franchise's answer, he definitely was their best shot at breaking the playoff drought.
and I get it, if you don't have a QB, you aren't winning shit in the NFL, so you have to find out if Peterman is worth developing vs drafting another QB with a 1st or 2nd round pick next season, but still, seems weird.

Who knows, maybe Peterman will magically become a serviceable QB and revive the rushing attack?

still, just doesn't make any sense unless they think Tyrod gave up on the team last week vs the saints.

either way, I'm just salty that 2 of my teams went from Watson to Cutler in the matter of a few weeks......ouch

Not sure i ever remember a time in my Jurassic NFL experience that a team on the verge of a playoff birth with a healthy QB decided to "change it up."
