I got a Fandago gift card last Spring so i decided during the holidays to use some of it. Why do you have to go to the box office to pick up the tickets after you purchased them online. I don't have a printer to print out the thing that has the confirmation # and movie and time I want to see .so is it okay to write the thing down on paper and show it to them?

What's the problem? You're going to the theater to see the movie, right? Just pick them up when you go to the movie.

There is a kiosk at the movie theater that you have to take your confirmation number to. So yes, all you need is the confirmation number not the actual receipt. The kiosk will print your tickets for you.

And btw, by kiosk I mean it's a machine. Looks like an ATM. So you don't talk to anyone.

The Fandango app is the only way I buy my movie tickets, it's so much easier to use. Especially for AMC theaters that have the reserved seating.

Choose the theater, choose the movie, choose the time, purchase tickets, go to theater.

Theater says nope, no record. You're supposed to choose the theater again after clicking on purchase tickets. I bought tickets for the wrong theater.
How many people have they ripped off with that feature?

I only buy tickets for movies online now.

I rarely even need Fandango anymore because a new theater just opened, and it has its own online system. You can pick your seats, too, for every theater. It's amazing.

I tried to buy from Fandango for Star Wars. It was such a jumblefuck, we gave up and just drove to the theater to buy our tix beforehand.

It took my sis about an hour before she gave up just trying to create an account because the app kept crashing.

AMC assigned seating fucking sucks. I wish they would get rid of it.

AMC waves the fee if you have their Stubbs card, which I do.
I have saved 100's in convience fees over the last 3 years with owning the card. And it's just $12 a year and then each year to renew it, is just $9

You should have done it right after midnight so you won't have that problem.

This was a couple weeks after the movie opened. It had nothing to do with the rush on the movie.
