Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain

S1 was interesting, and showed SOME promise. S2 was acceptable, and an OK follow up. S3 is painful.
It has become nothing but a sugar-filled dessert that just doesn't hit the spot. The writing is not edgy or cause any excitement. Everything is about the kids and a single family doing everything and getting treated differently from everyone else. Pope and weaver had a debate in Popes bar, and all the patrons made the obligatory mumble-grumbles at all the right moments like the good extra-lemmings they were. Lazy writing.
I will keep it on my DVR through this season, but I will seriously consider treating it like Revolution after the S3 finale (giving up on it) if it does not turn things around and act like a cable-show instead a cheesy network neutered show.
new season has started out stinking up the joint. Damn shame because season 3 was probably their best effort by far and had me re-interested in the show.
???Sad to see this show end
???
It is about time. I have not been able to remove it from my DVR (Hi, my name is calsnowskier, and I am an addict), but is a complete waste of time.
This last episode was painful.
1) they immediately know that Lexi is a fake. They have always given the Masons EVERY benefit of the doubt, and of course, they have always been right to do so. The one time they immediately change this trend, they are right.
2) why have a gate at the base at all? They open it completely and expose everyone to whatever danger may exist anyway.
3) a beer maker is able to re-engineer an alien bio-weapon in a matter of days to make it safe for humans?
4) Pope dies like that? That whole battle was cringe-worthy.
Wait, so taking cover behind 100 explosive barrels was a bad idea?
That would be even worse.something tells me that he isn't dead
That would be even worse.
Not digging through the rubble to confirm his demise would be another act of incompetence from a military unit that, while ragtag, still has the structure and origins of the actual military.
something tells me that he isn't dead
Good point. There is only 1 episode left. There really just isnt time to bring in ANOTHER Pope side-story.I think he is. I don't think the writers wanted to cram another thing into the finale to try to explain.
I've really hated this season. They have had a whole bunch of filler when they could have been wrapping stuff up.
