Fox planning "Deadpool 3" featuring X-Force.

Long way off, seeing as how Deadpool 2 hasn't even started production yet...

But, in the same vain, Fox is rebooting Xmen again, which makes sense since X1-3, then First Class, Days of Future Past, and Apocalypse are all related. My guess is Deadpool will be the first film in the new X-Men universe. The Colossus they used was a different actor from X-3 so they won't be breaking any continuity there, and there really was no way they could combine the Xmen from the 70's (First Class,) the 80's (Apocalypse,) and the time travel aspects of Days of Future Past with the hit that was Deadpool. Their best option is to use Deadpool as the current universe for a new batch of Xmen.

John Wick: Small budget + good quality action = Great choice. You let Ryan Reynolds handle the comedy and the Director focuses on the action pieces. Love it.

Can't wait for John Wick 2 as well.

DC has hired director and writer David Ayer (Suicide Squad) to direct and produce a movie starring Harley Quinn, Catwoman and Poison Ivy.

It will be based on the DC comic book series Gotham City Sirens, which focuses on the lady villains in Batman’s world. Margot Robbie will executive produce and star as Harley Quinn and joining her will be Catwoman and Poison Ivy. Geneva Robertson-Dworet, who is working on the script for the Tomb Raider reboot, will write the script for Gotham City Sirens.

The project has not only been greenlighted, but plans are to "fast-track" it into the group of DC projects that are already in production or pre-production for release dates in 2017 (Wonder Woman, Justice League) and 2018 (AquaMan, Batman, and also possibly a Flash movie). 2018 spring or late summer like Suicide Squad would probably be the realistic windows the movie would be released.

these scare me... You want it to be good, and give the characters justice, BUT you know it is targeted to little girls...

The biggest problem with Comic book movies is that they forget who their target is sometimes... If they make the fanboys happy, the chances are they will make everyone happy...

Gothem Sirens screams "DUUUUUMMMMMMBBBBBB" to me.

These characters are good in films with other main characters. They don't all call for their own compelling storylines. Poison Ivy: She's hot... and she can control plants..... That's fucking it.
Catwoman is only mildly interesting with Batman around, and we've seen what a solo Catwoman movies can be: one of the worst films ever.

This sounds like a huge swing and miss to me.

Not sure if they can use that to spin into a 2 hour movie though.

if done correctly it could be a great movie... but they have proven that they care more about packaging it as a girl power movie than a superhero movie...

Oh great, well that sure worked out well for Ghostbusters, which made half of what the same director's other films all made, despite having over 3X the budget, lol.

Might not receive the same negative backlash though, since at least they aren't reinventing the characters as women just to shoe-horn the agenda into the film.

I heard this the other day. Not the direction I was thinking, but the more I have thought about it, I am kinda OK with it.

I guess they are going with more of a technical take on the character rather than a muscle bound Giant, and they have an actor who can pull it off.
