Proehl played 80 games as a Cardinal, 75 as a Ram, same number of seasons for each..

But you are right, they definitely have had some of the best. Throw in Tom Fears of course, even Jim Benton, and that's a heck of a group.

These are the three guys. And it is clear: John Stallworth is ridiculous. He just did not get the opportunities the other two guys got, but you can see what he did per reception, and it's just mindblowing.

As much as people rightly fawn over what A Brown is doing right now, Stallworth had his way with the league just as much. And this was at a time when defenses could be draped all over you all over the field, and flatten your ass in ways they can't anymore.

If he got the kind of opportunities Brown gets today......

Moss is the Vikes all time best receiver. Moss played 7 full seasons with MIN, while Carter played 12 full seasons.

Moss had 5 years of averaging 80 ypg.
Carter had 1 year of averaging 80 ypg.

Moss had 6 years of at least 10 TD's.
Carter had 5 years of at least 10 TD's.

Moss averaged 82 ypg as a Viking.
Carter averaged 59 ypg as a Viking.

Steelers is a tough one to pick. But I think old1r1sh got it right... Longevity of great production will always rank higher. And nobody did it better than Hines. Much better than a flash in the pan like Wallace, Holmes, Burress or Thigpen. 217 games & just north of 12k yards... Nobody on the list comes close, yet. Stallworth is the closest, but AB is steamrolling his charge to the top.

Hinds Wards was a work horse for you guy's .... Golden Tate reminded me a lot of Hinds Ward, that's why I hated the fact that we let him go and kept Percy instead... Both guy's can block really well, tough as nails... and both have good hands.... I think Hinds had a little advantage over Tate, but Tate was just very similar of a player, even stature wise they had the same build ...
