Germany tentative again...no imagination up front and missing passes as has been the case the entire tournament. Very lucky to get out of this today. Actually this was the first time ever Neuer has done penalty kicks in an international tournament.

Muller and Ozil no more penalty kicks for you two. Muller blew one too that cost Bayern in the Champions League against Atletico. Ozil 0 for 2 in this tournament. Schweinsteiger too. Way over the net for the win.

Anyways, they survive but overall they have played tentative boring futbol and yet they may still win this. France maybe the only team left that can beat them. Thankfully Spain and Italy in the rear view mirror now.

Looks like no Gomez, Khedira, Hummels, and Schweinsteiger versus France it appears. A lot of midfielders missing. Rudiger might have been one but he suffered an ACL and was dropped. If they go 3 in the back, it could be Mustafi again, in the middle Draxler starts too. Definitely Gotze will be back in the lineup. A bit of a dilemma. Hummels sucked against Italy. Too slow in his decision making and ruined opportunities. So maybe him being out is a plus.

Absolutely pathetic!!!! Germany embarrass themselves. Muller a complete no show once again at the Euros. I am thinking Muller needs a real striker around him or he is bs. No Klose no Lewandowski, and he disappears. Gotze useless garbage. Injuries killed them too. No Reus or Gomez left them dead up front. Khedira Hummels out and the Boatang injuries and they are left with garbage like Can and Mustafi. Just ran out of gas. Need to find a real striker and figure out more imagination up front or this is the result going forward. 2 years to figure it out.
