I'm not talking about sitting on top of those Pujols homer balls. This is not something that will happen that often. The Rangers are in the World Series for consecutive years. Win or lose I am proud of where this franchise has come from. ENJOY THE RIDE!!!

Knowing that the other teams big power hitter just embarrassed him the night before, I think I know what Nolan Ryan would do the next day. Speaking of the Cardinals, I know what Bob Gibson would do. Since Nolan grew up listening to Cardinal baseball back in the day, I 'm sure he heard many a call when Gibson made the batter hit the dirt.

I don't care what happened after the 4th inning because it all changed on a bad call. If the correct call is made then the Cards don't score 4 runs and Harrison is still pitching instead of the bullpen. Going up 3-1 is a lot different than being down 5-3.

I expected Texas to win 2 of 3 in Arlington. They just got it out of the way in the first game is all. They'll still get the next two I believe. Carpenter won't be quite as good in our ballpark I don't think, and I believe there may be more to his elbow issues than he and the club are letting on.
