Reggie Miller survived quite well, and he talked a LOT. This idea that 80's players were so much tougher is really exaggerated.

The 90's is when the physicality got out of control. Not the 80's. Imo, the 80's was actually the perfect mix of how basketball was played in the 90's and how it is played now.

The 90's was way too physical. There were games that barely resembled basketball.

Today's game isn't physical enough.
