I think that's changed. There's not too many scenarios where a player on the losing team has much of a case against the best player on the winning team in a Finals series. But last year, Lebron's numbers (I haven't looked it up so feel free to correct me) seemed significantly better to Khawi Leonard's, yet Leonard won the MVP. But in technicalities, you're correct, trojan.

I'm intrigued to see how the Cavs guard the perimeter. Without Korver, Atlanta was a poor 3-point shooting team as evident by their consistent wide open misses in game 4. If the Cavs give those same looks, Cleveland might as well not show up.

Cleveland Big weakness is defending the 3. Bulls had so many wide open 3's we just didn't hit them.

The Cavs were a top-10 team in 3-pt defense all season (even with the horrible defensive 1st half of the season). In the playoffs they are #1, only team holding playoff opponents below 30%.

Now... the Celtics are a bad outside shooting team, so that should be taken into account. But the Hawks and Bulls were both top-10 teams in 3-pt shooting this season.


Its probably because the other teams just aren't hitting open shots, though
