Iowa really underachieved last year, really overachieved the year before that.

OK
But what is this number

Oklahoma 9.5 -145o

Here is your betting lesson

Over is 10 wins or more
Under is 9 wins or less

If you think Oklahoma is going to win 10 games or more you MUST bet $145 to win $100.

If you think Oklahoma is going to win 9 games or less, you must bet $110 to win $100.

So in this example you win more if you take the under on Oklahoma right?

Whereas with Washington it's even money regardless of which way you bet

You must bet $110 to win $100 over or under on washington. That 10 bucks is the vigorish that helps to guarantee the Sportsbook makes money.

Sometimes, Sportsbooks still have losses that the vigorish can't cover.

I have a suggestion. Whenever someone posts crap like this they HAVE to post the Previous Years Predictions also...

If some site Takes down the Previous Years Prediction they should never be posted at Any Time.

I can tell you these four teams for 2016. I made a few threads last year asking for what people thought of certain bets, of course, very few of you even commented. Now I know why

Penn State was 6.5 I bet them over
Northwestern was 6.5 I bet them over stupid loss to Illinois State
V Tech was 6.5 I bet them over I bet BIG on this one. This was my for sure bet.
Michigan State was 8.5 I bet them under

I had one other bet but for some reason I can't think of who it was. The only bet i lost was Northwestern.

For the life of me, I can't figure that one out. It's not like we play anyone good until Wisky on 10/7. :suds:

We're breaking in a new QB, and running a 3-4 D this year without all the tools to run that D, but even if we lose to the ducks, we should still be at absolute worst 4-3 after Wisky and Ohio State. No clue how we could lose 3 more in the last 5 weeks unless the team quits.

However, I learned a long time ago to never bet on my team. If I lose the bet, then I'm double screwed. If I win the bet, but we go 7-5, it's still a shitty season and I'm pissed. No win situation.

Just early lines that are posted for the MOST passionate fanbases that will come in and bet, many times without even thinking about it.

Oh? nebraska at 6.5, Heck, I will bet the farm on the over.

Now, by thinking about it this is what you get....

Of course, Nebraska lost 95% of its offense, new starting QB, new starting RB, new starting TE, the go to receiver, their starting center, lost three of the top 4 receivers, and their two leading tacklers. The O liine is mostly intact, but the dual threat Tommy Armstrong made sure sacks into runs in 2016. The right tackle still sucks. Tanner Lee is not Tommy Armstrong.

Nebraska's punting game is questionable, Lightbourn had a great game in the bowl loss, but stunk in the Spring game when he had NO RUSH. The punting game was very, very bad. A not Top Ten punt with a -12 punt or something.

Breaking in a new defensive coordinator with recruits from the previous two DCs without the two leading tacklers from 2016.

Nebraska's D was scorched by Ohio State, Iowa, and Tennessee by giving up 140 points or an average of 47 points per loss.

Let's bring up the fact that Nebraska has lost three road games each year under Riley. In 2015, Nebraska lost to both Illinois and Purdue on the road. Nebraska plays Oregon, has Riley EVER beaten Oregon in Eugene? Plays Penn State LOSS, now will the other loss be Illinois, Purdue, or Minnesota? Or does the streak end?

Mike Riley has yet to beat either Wisconsin on Iowa going 0-4 so far.

Nebraska did not finish in the Top Ten of any statistical category, but Nebraska did finish in the bottom ten in four categories.

.......

Yes he has, in 2007. His only win with Oregon State at Autzen.

That is encouraging.
