Fly, Eagles Fly
I was just going to post it, Foles with 3 TDs against the Cardinals D, looking like he is going to win.

Yup - and in the first half he looked as bad as Bradford (actually yardage wise and TOP wise the numbers were eerily similar to those of the Eagles). Big difference? Rams TO's close to the Cardinals' goal line that the Rams could convert). In the second half Foles played pretty good, but in the first half he was pretty much as bad as Bradford.
lol, you are clueless
Yup.... because of course Foles numbers tell all.... ahum, wait:
16/24, 171 yards and 3 TD's for Foles
15/28, 290 yards and 3 TD's for Bradford - and with more drops by his players than Foles.
The Rams offense stunk in the first half, just had the luck to work on a short field for the TD (17 yards to go). Foles has played good in the second half today. So did Bradford.
The only clueless one on here is you. Foles was BAD last year, and except the Washington game the Eagles won despite him more than because of him. Foles was not the answer by a long shot; it was worth it taking a flyer on Bradford; one that has not panned out so far, but who knows.
you're flat out wrong
No disrespect meant, but I bet there are 20 teams that would love to trade late round picks for solid OL.I wasn't talking about a high pick, but a late round pick for a solid OL. We're running out of decent linemen. that's still the biggest problem on this team. Instead of plugging along and finish with a mediocre record, do something to acquire a couple more players.
What?
About the short field for the Rams today? About the Rams offense stinking it up in the first half? About Foles stinking it up for much of last season (when he played)?[/QUOTE]
were they supposed to walk into AZ, against a 3-0 team and dominate?
you're opinion, which is fine its your opinion, but stop passing it off as some big fact. When facts are all Foles does is win baby. He just wins

We're going to deeply regret trading Nick Foles. Deeply.
lol, you are clueless
Foles was never bad last season. However if you compared him to his stats the prior season he was not as good. What?

Last season - week after week - was one litany of All-22's showing Foles missing one wide open WR after another, creating his own pressure, and holding on for the ball for far too long (often leading to fumbles). There were also a good number of WTF INT's, as bad as anything Bradford has shown so far.
What bailed out Foles last season for a long time were the defense and ST.
Foles was bad last season, as simple as that. And this season he has not been markedly better than Bradford (nor has he been markedly worse).
1 year removed from the playoffs with Andy's guys, goes 9-3, then loses 3 of 4, and he does a total overhaul. Starts the following season with "HIS" players the same we he finished last year, losing 3 of 4, with nearly everyone, especially on O, his specialty looking like poop. This team isn't so bad for a total overhaul. Bradford looked better, the O looked better. Clean up the drops and keep the D fresher and we can bring it together. Need to win 5 or 6 in a row and a little confidence will go a long way.

You are flat out wrong. Foles was off last year because of some crushing blows, one by Brown in Washington then one that busted his collar bone. He only played in 8 games. The Eagles would be a super bowl contender this year with the players they had and with a few key additions. Only an idiot would have broken up such good machine. Thanks Chip.
