Seeing as only Durant signed with GS, I doubt you will see GS have Curry, Thompson and Green announce they are still on the team under the same contracts.

Will they have a Durant news conference? Absolutely. Will he be as obnoxious as the Heat trio? IMO, I don't see it happening. Durant seems to be very reserved and not someone who has to have the spotlight on him. So my guess is he will be quite humble at his press conference. I could be wrong, but he seems to let his game do the talking more than his mouth.

This is a short-term deal. Curry is due a HUGE raise next year, so the Warriors don't really get any bonus out of next year's cap expansion. Durant is only signing a 1-1 deal. This decision could mean that Westbrook was leaving next year regardless. Throw the chips up in the air again next summer...

I am pretty sure Durant would not have agreed to terms here without assurance from GS ownership that they were willing to go well over the luxury tax line. Durant does not enjoy free agency. He is in Golden State to say, barring some unforeseen circumstance.

Depends on how quickly the gel as a unit. The shooters and pure scorers on this team is unbelievable though.

What people forget too is -- Durant is very good rebounding as well, so it makes their small ball lineup even more effective.
Almost not even fair to have Curry, Thompson and Durant on the same team, let alone Draymond Green as ur 4th.

I don't think many true view Durant as a villain though. Just look at the posts in here. Very few are expressing hate. People will root against he Dubs for sure, but just as many will be rooting for them.
