I believe he will come back. He wants a degree for himself and his family. For a football standpoint, it is beneficial that he comes back. He had a very slow start to the year and the injuries to the line enabled teams to key in on him which his numbers took a dip. He also had to play out of position a few games because of the injuries. There is no guarantee he will be a first round pick this year and for sure won't be a top 10 pick. If he rededicates himself and has a monster Senior campaign, he will be for sure a top 10 pick and could be the 1st end to drafted. Tuitt waiting until after the bowl game is a good sign in my opinion that he will be back.

I think he goes but deep inside he wants to stay. I don't think you can pass up on being a 1st rd pick.

I would love to see him back, but I doubt anything he does next year will increase his stock value. This is probably the same thing I said about Nix, and he came back, so I hold out hope that Tuitt decides to come back for his senior year.

If he dominates the bowl game, he won't be back.

Buh-bye.

I just don't see him coming back. Sure it would help alot, but a few NFL scouts view him as a more complete DE than even Jadeveon Clowney.

I read on CBS that Rob Rang has him going around pick #16 , or atleast in that vicinity. Overall Rang has been pretty good on the draft and prospects. Overall he does a fine job. I find it extremely hard to believe Tuitt is going to pass up the opportunity of getting drafted in the middle of the first round. He'd be crazy to stay. I wish he would be it simply wouldn't be smart considering his projected status in the draft.

Who knows maybe he thinks he can have a big year and break NDs sack record and get drafted in the top 5.

I agree I think he is gone but you never know with these kids. He really does want to get his ND degree.

I wonder how many sacks Ross Browner actually had. He was still the best player I ever saw at ND.

I was reading on CBS yesterday and was looking at their perspective mock drafts. Rob Rang had Tuitt going at pick #17 and Louis Nix going at pick #28 and Dane Brugler had Zach Martin going in the first round at pick #32 and Louis Nix going at pick#13 and Stephon Tuitt at pick#17. If there close that's a fine draft for Notre Dame.

not bad 3 1st rd picks. Martin is going to be a nice pick up for someone.

I think he's gone. I'm not sure how much more he can improve his draft stock, coming back for another year I feel can only hurt him. Either he risks getting injured or he has a subpar season and his stock drops. I know the Cowboys could use him.

I think he could put himself inside the top 10 with a good season, with a bad one outside the first round so I guess it depends on where people think he'll end up after this year.

As a Green Bay Packer fan I would love to see Ted Thompson draft either Tuitt or Nix. Both of these players are going to have good careers. When Teo came out I really had my druthers even though we needed a linebacker. I don't know how he ended up doing this year in San Deigo because of the few games they were on TV he was injured. Just didn't see him play that much. Riddick made some plays for the Lions, Floyd had a real nice season and I heard a lot of Golden Domers names in the NFL lately. I know Minnesota has quite a few playing right now, too bad Rudolph got injured. Either way I think Notre Dame has a real selling point to recruits as they are really doing a fine job being represented in the NFL today.

Te'o had an ok season 51 total tackles in 12 games so far, no picks or sacks.

Tuitt has received a 2nd round draft grade.

CBS sports player rankings has him as a 1st round draft choice. Check it out , they grade all the players. Tuitt and Nix both grade in the first round . Zach Martin grades 1-2 round, Chris Watt round 4, Prince Shembo 4-5, and T.J. Jones round 6. That is as far as I looked through it.
