Anyways I over heard some of them talking about how pissed they where that the Vols band is not coming. Not even a pep band. Can sec teams not afford to send their band to away games?

Yep. It's a good strategy. I'm not being sarcastic. It got the Sooners to the 2008 BCS NC game. 5 straight games scoring over 60 points and another with 58.
