If they want a shot to jump FSU? Or do you think a 2 or 3 TD win will do it? Or do you think they have no shot to jump FSU this week no matter what?
To jump FSU this week?
Put at least 50 on the board, and hold UCLA under 14.
Stanford held UCLA to 10.
Ask 01 Oregon
computers dont take in margin of victory.
The human element wont drop Oregon if they dont blow out UCLA.
Fixed it.
It really is ridiculous we have to have this conversation.
Anyone who plays in a big boy conference and goes unbeaten should get a shot.
Eyeball tests and voters to determine who is the best.
Hopefully it all takes care of itself and we only have two unbeatens.
Otherwise its a shit storm.
Ya, on paper Bama, Oregon, ans FSU appear to be the best 3. But who is to say an Ohio State or Baylor couldnt beat one of them. Never would know as the game wasnt played.
Ask 02 Miami
I know the computers don't take margin of victory intoo consideration.
It's the human polls that Oregon needs to keep on their side.
They'll be watching both FSU and Oregon closely from here on out.
If Oregon's defense gives up in the mid/upper 20's and their offense only puts up 30's, they're gonna lose some human support. It really is a fashion show as long as the two stay undefeated.

even if Oregon does pass FSU this week it is likely only for the week. oregon has next week off while FSU plays Miami so FSu would likely jump over and idle Oregon again. then oregon plays stanford so oregon would likely jump FSU who plays Wake Forest that week.
After that Syracuse Idaho and Florida does not stack up Utah, Arizona and Oregon State.
ya, maybe. I honestly doubt it though.
I have a hard time seeing an undefeated Oregon team getting jumped by anyone behind them in human polls.
The defense is going to give up points. They are on the field nearly 35 minutes a game vs only having the ball on offense 25 minutes a game.
Oh really?
