I think Baylor definitely jumps Ohio St.
The battle for 4th and 5th doesn't matter this year
It does?
I guess we should stop talking about Oregon altogether than
Oregon fans should be cocky, they've been winning national titles for awhile now and have earned the right to pencil themselves in the BCS title game.
Ohio State was in a hard fought game in the 3rd quarter with Buffalo.
There was a bad penalty that kept Buffalo from getting a critical turnover and a real threat to win.
That game was a big reason why Ohio State fell from their #2 start.
.............
I know each game is different.
But if we are talking razor thin margins, every little thing has to be considered.
Baylor annihilated Buffalo.
Ohio State was still in a very dicey game in the 3rd quarter.
It is not a huge thing......
But, the voters would be debating a very very tough and close debate.
The tiny little things like the Buffalo game would matter.
Oregon fans should be cocky, they've been winning national titles for awhile now and have earned the right to pencil themselves in the BCS title game.
Don't get too cocky now.
Assuming Baylor would jump Ohio State; Possible FSU loses to Miami; That puts Baylor in 3rd right there.
Then if Bama or Oregon lose a game = Baylor in the NC. It's possible.
I am not even sure Oregon is a lock.
Their schedule might be the worst of the bunch.
The PAC 12 will be lucky if it generates even 2 teams with less than 4 losses.
If Notre Dame or USC make some more noise, there can be a scenario where Oregon is the only ranked PAC-12 team.
Oregon should be thanking WISCONSIN everyday that Arizona State still only has the 2 losses.
I think you've got to give the similar respect to Northern Illinois that you give to tOSU.
They have two common opponents in Iowa and Purdue.
N. Illinois win @ Iowa was more impressive than tOSU beating Iowa in Columbus imo.
If they win out?
Baylor finishes the season with 5 games, against likely 4 ranked teams:
Oklahoma (10)
Texas Tech (15)
Oklahoma State (18)
TCU (NR)
Texas (will likely be ranked)
Ohio State finishes with 4 games, with at most 1 ranked team:
Purdue (NR)
Illinois (NR)
Indiana (NR)
Michigan (21 - likely won't hold up)
* Thoughts???
