Does anybody have any experience with rice cookers or pressure cookers?

Unless you've got a really old, defective, or suspiciously cheap ($5 and cooks more than a cup at a time) cooker, you should be okay. My family's been using rice cookers for decades, and burning the bottom has never been a problem.

I think I might try one from Walmart that looks exactly like that but I'm assuming it's smaller because it's cheaper in price. The reviews seem to check out as far as not burning the bottom. If it doesn't work out Walmart has a pretty good return policy so I'll at least get my money back.

Good choice for price. Looks too fancy tho. We never use the veggie steamer.

That one is $10 more but seems to be an upgrade over what I got. Hopefully the one I ordered works just as well.
