DJAX, Sproles and Edelman

I feel like I am overthinking this but:

I have two spots for these three guys in a non PPR. I think I should stick with DJax and Sproles but I picked up Edelman and with the receiver troubles in NE, I am considering sliding in Edelman. Status quo or Brady's main option tonight?

I'd stick with DJAX and Sproles. I suspect the Pats O will have a rough time of it generally this week. At WR they have Thompkins, Edelman and Boyce (with Dobson and Slater questionable), at TE Hoomanauwnanauwiannauwi (and Sudfeld questionable), at RB an iffy Ridley and Blount (with Bolden and Washington questionable).

There's a decent chance the Pats DST gets more TDs than the offense does.

If there was any other credible recording threat available to NE this week, I'd say sick Amendola in. ..as is though, he'll get his targets, but with the sure amount of defensive attention, I'd be shocked if he gets much in the way of yards.

All 3 are great options. You aren't going to sit Sproles in PPR, so this is between DJax and Edelman. DJax has the higher ceiling though. I would stick with him even though I think Edelman will be really good this week. You never know when Belicek is going to do something crazy with his game plan as far as his receiver usage goes.

I did try to tell people he would be. Losing vereen means he probably gets more touches than I expected, though.

Pretty soggy here in Denver. Not as bad as Boulder and the Foothills. I think I'll just keep Ridley on the shelf to remind me to never take a Belichick RB again. (I broke my own rule this year on that)

in a non PPR league i am not sure how great edelman is... it seems like he is the replacement for vereen and not amendola... and edelman as good as he is does not have the skills to turn those short passes into HUGE plays... I just dont see him to be a TD guy and even with 13 catches yesterday he did not even break 100 yards... Of course he deserves a roster spot in all leagues, he is just not as valuable in non PPR... I think i might rather have dobson in non PPR going forward than edelman...

I agree longer term Dobson is a better option. Over the next couple of weeks Edelman is solid though.

Even next week, in a non PPR league i think i would always start dobson over edelman...

I may do so in some leagues, although I mostly have better options. I feel he is real close to clicking. All the pieces are there.
