I feel like after the 3-4 switch he was a monster. Now I feel like he has had a down year. I think he will bounce back next year, but he's got to step his game back up to where it was during our SB run and the years around that. Here is to hoping he finishes the season strong. I feel like a big reason for our D's downhill slide the last 3 weeks is that the only real pass rush has come from our LB's... We haven't gotten enough from the ends the last 3-4 weeks.

I think Wolfe is a good example of the insidious effect - an untrustworthy offense has on the play of the defense - the guys on D have lost faith with the offense.

The Broncos on the whole - played like they wanted to win against the Bengals - I was very glad to see it - since it has been missing for 5 or 6 weeks (IMO).

I feel like Wolfe is very injury prone. Seems like he has had neck issues in the past. Not good at all.

I think that is spinal stenosis, narrowing of the spine. That is one of the reasons the other Manning brother never made it to the NFL.

He suffered a neck injury against the seahawks a few years ago. There should be some serious thinking about the quality of life vs NFL career for Wolfe this offseason.

There was a WR in the indoor league I recruit for that had a WR with this. He was suppose to play at Oregon but Oregon wouldn't take him due to this medical condition, advised him to not play... He ended up at Appalachian State and then they told him the same thing and for some reason he was playing 3 years of indoor football despite being told not to play.

Packers WR Terrence Murphy had to retire from this after 1 year in the league... I've seen college players not make it to the NFL because of this.

Not good.

I'm reading a much different report this morning.

Much better then the previous.
Doctors told him he doesn't need surgery but needs rest. Could lose his right arm if he doesn't rest his body, but if he rests and does it appropriate where he heals correctly he should be back in time for offseason workouts.

Probably all depends on how he heals.

Either way it appears his neck is going to be a concern going forward as he has a history of neck issues.

I think Bronco fans just need to prepare for some dismal years for awhile. It's a bigger mess than some want to believe or admit. I get it but what I see going forward does not look promising. It's been a great run for along time but shit happens in this league and sometimes your numbers up and you have to rebuild again and it takes time. You look at the offense and say, " which player/players could Denver NOT afford to lose? Personally, at this point I don't see anybody. On the D side , Miller, Harris ??????????? Coaches ? Hmmm.....Don't see anybody I couldn't live without. Denver has major issues going forward. I realize all the " glass half full " guys will have problem with this but that's what I expect . Don't have a stroke Crash/Duffy/Cd/etc :)

I still think the Broncos can be turned around quickly - with the right set of moves (and luck).

Sorry to hear about Wolfe's injury. I would seriously consider retirement if I was him - he has compromised his spinal cord.
