Could be. I'd be concerned if I was a Texans fan, though, that his instinct was to tuck it and run as soon as the play broke down.

Of course. This play calling isn't helping him any and could hurt his long term viability. They need to set him up to succeed. I think part of that will be telling him to stop running. It's a big part of his game, but they need to get him used to hanging in there. Once he learns that then he can get back to running to buy time.

I think Watson will be just fine....he has an excellent WR in Hopkins to throw to. O'Brien needs to let him run the offense.....I think he could be another Russell Wilson.

I think a lot of that was play calling. He wasn't given options to change at the line and had a simple game plan. He can play better I believe, but OBrien needs to take the reigns off.

Titans/Jags is a sneaky interesting game to me this week.......You could have a Jacksonville team everyone expected to be awful, at 2-0, and a Titans team who was everyones' darling team, at 0-2

With Houston's D they are better off with Watson looking for his first read and then running if it's not there . No sense in trying to force a throw . As long as he doesn't turn it over Houston should win enough to be in the division race

Yeah, I would never kill a kid in one game started, i just did notice some of the flaws that scouts didnt like about him........

Newsflash. You ain't gotta watch em. This game woulda sucked on Sunday too. I like having games on Thursday.

Exactly. Don't watch if you don't want to. If ratings are low enough they won't put the games on. I thought it was a crappy matchup, thought it was kind of a boring game and yet I still watched a lot of it. I like having the option even though I often forget a game is on until it's half way over.

You gotta admit the kid is clutch though . Always was in college and then last night goes on a 6-7 minute scoring drive to eat up almost all the clock late in the fourth. I never loved him as an BFL guy but I think he can be serviceable

If he is as good as Houston thinks he will be, the game will slow down for him. It always does for the good ones.
