I watched that as a 21 year old........it was well deserved from a guy that ran behind some horrible lines for about his first 6 or 7 seadons of his career.....
He definetley gave it all......
I was at probably 6 or 7 WP games and seen 3 memorable/not so memorable games,the McMahon getting mugged game and Paytons retirement and the Washington beating us in the 86 playoffs,but,sadly I didnt see that one.
Would of loved to have been there......

An absolute enjoyment to watch......there was no other like him thats for sure.
I think Sayers probably owns the return yards.....not sure tho.
The record I think he may own to is passing tds for s rb.....he could do it all.....playedqb vs the Packers one time when Avellini or Evans went down.....noot sure which one it was......
I actually have a newspaper clipping of that day I cut out years ago......
I may have to revisit that clipping......
