He was considered a top 20 pick based on game film. I fail to see why him running a slow time changes everything on the field.
Honeybadger fell after a similar time too.
My guess would be -- in college, you don't face the best of the best every week. You can get by being on the slower side and be a great CB still. In the NFL, everyone can run.
Everything I've read is he is great at shadowing receivers, but it is tough to put a CB running a 4.6 on the outside because you will have to roll the safety to his side of the field or risk having him get beat deep.
That being said -- I'm just happy to see Detroit going after the defensive side of the ball. We really need to get a pass rusher now though to help out Ansah.
