He'd be perfect for the Mariners then, because the bright lights would never hit himWell, Darvish is a solid number 4 guy. Throughout his career he mostly has been great until the bright lights hit him.
I still want Lynn and/or Cobb, but it doesn't matter what I want...
there you go its fixed nowWhy add starters when you can just throw more Garbage cans in the bullpen.
Not that I thought there was any chance of the Ms signing Darvish but it’s bummer that he had to sign with one of the “super teams”. The MLB is really turning into the NBA with the haves and have nots. Although most teams are smart not to hang in the middle unlike the Mariners

And on top of that the Marlins raised ticket prices on 40% of their tickets. No shame.
I agree. It's long past time MLB instituted a salary cap. And a hard cap like the NHL or NFL, not that soft cap BS like the NBA. The luxury tax just isn't nearly enough of a deterrent for teams like the Yankees or Dodgers. I think a salary floor like the NHL has would also be a good thing to prevent teams like the Marlins from pulling their BS.
A floor most definitely. But in a way MLB has shown salary caps are irrelevant and just an excuse by owners. Baseball has had the most parity in terms of champions out of the major 3 sports leagues.
Unfortunately this hasn't applied to the Mariners lol.
I almost put that but it is piling on. In baseball it is damn near impossible to go ten years without at least a playoff appearance and the M's are looking at two decades.
