Not sure if anyone watches this show, but this week our very own Darius Slay was 1 of 6 NFL players to appear on the show and receive a tat. I have a number tats and enjoy watching this "reality" show to watch the artwork that comes from it.
Initially he was on to watch a fan get a football tattoo and then have his signature tattooed by the football as well. But later all the players were brought out to get a tattoo by an artist. His was a simple rose. Not a horrible tattoo, but wasn't anything special. I was pretty let down to see he didn't come up with a better idea.
Allen Robinson from the Jags also was on the show. He is a native of Detroit and he got a tattoo that represented the city. "Robinson, a Detroit native, chose to get a tattoo featuring an Old English D, 313 area code and the Detroit skyline. The judges weren't thrilled with that, either."
I couldn't find a pic of his.
Still cool to see a Lions player on a show like that, even if his tattoo wasn't amazing.
