What an idiot!! I think I was the only Lakers fan NOT screaming for his head. The Lakers agree to bring him back despite a 27 win season and him being less popular than genital warts and he resigns because they wouldn't pick up the team option early.


Funny thing is, if the team showed enough improvement, the Lakers would have likely picked up the option during the season.

I really think he's an OK coach but he can't get teams over the hump, hence those years with suns. He likes the run and gun style but does not care about defense.
