Makes sense. I wouldn't be comfortable hoping he replicates a 2.8 WAR season myself.

This will quietly go down as the worst move of Daytons career....8 mil Infante over 3 mil Emilio...because its 2014 that will define Dayton's tenor....

Will give some props, Infante's 66 rbi's, most by a Royals 2b in 25 years (Emilio might have broke the runs and sb records over the last 25 years for a 2nd baseman too, lol)


More importantly, he had his 3rd highest AB total in his career, although with the the 2nd worst BA in his career...that was a huge win for him, for at least 1 season.


Still not sold at 8 mil but it is what it is now and winning makes it irrelavent, lol.
