I was very far off, they only had 8 representatives in the ASG that year too. Nothing like this year at all, really.

The Dodgers in the postseason are pretty much a fart in the wind these days.

The Dodgers haven't won a chip in a while but at least they didn't get annihilated by the Mets last year like the Cubs did. At least the Dodgers put up a good fight. Or like when the Dbacks... you know the Diamondbacks have only been the postseason twice in the past 13 years or so, there's really not much to say.

Meh, the Dodgers might not have Kershaw but they're still not to be slept on. #1 NL wild card and 1/2 game out in the NL West.

Why are you deflecting? You brought the Dodgers into this. No one else did.

I'm not sure how often this has happen before if ever where team has a Cy Young winner and then an offensive player win the MVP in the same year. It appears this has a good chance of happening with the Cubs being the best team in the Majors and have K. Bryant who's batting over 300 and is 1rst in HR's and 4th in RBI's and K. Hendricks leads the NL in ERA. This is crazy, the cubs have 4 pitchers in the top ten for lowest ERA. Their worst starting pitcher for the Cubs this year was the best starter for the Cards last season in Lackey. It's almost unfair. It's basically the All star team vs everyone else.

Kris Bryant's 5th inning HR went 471 ft. It was the sixth longest this season in baseball and 2nd longest by a Cub since 2009.

Its all good to me........but won`t mean anything if my team can`t get it done this season.
And I`m losiing confidence fast.
They are just looking average vs the playoff teams. They need to put fear into their opponents eyes rather than hope.
And the Cardinals have a little revenge on their minds after last years p.o. series vs the Cubs..............But there is a month n a half to go.

Anything can happen.

daniel murphy will be MVP If he isnt the award should be changed to best offensive player:suds:

CY is still a tight race in the NL:suds:

That would be my pick as well......But lots of games left....We`ll see.

Not sure how that's deflecting, you mentioned the Dodgers not being relevant in the postseason but the Dbacks hardly even make it there to begin with. You said yourself that no one cares about the Dbacks so I just found it ironic.

Every single team in NL West has been to a WS since the last time the Dodgers made it.

Also since the dbacks became a franchise they have made the post season 5 times. The Dodgers have made it 7 times. You are not the juggernaut you claim to be.

And I'm the one deflecting... I admitted the Dodgers had not won a WS in a long time. You need to admit that the Dbacks have hardly even been relevant for over a decade.

It's hard to believe that '84 Cubs team couldn't get past the Padres in the playoffs...
