We'll see. I can't help but feel even as ST scuttled the effort today the team may have had a chance if Sefo Liufau hadn't gone down. Hope he's ready for Oregon.

I will say though Colorado has quite a bit of speed themselves. Very impressed with the playmakers they have and the ability to really make a defense have to cover the entire field.

How much has CU improved though? Alot of their best players are seniors. This team has no excuses if they only win 4 or less games this year.

That is definitely the thing for this season. No more moral victories where they keep games close. I don't think anybody expected them to win on the road against the #4 team in the country. So I'm willing to live with that loss especially since they did play with them for a while. The Michigan game is the one I'm willing to allow to be a moral victory. Although mistakes killed them big time that should not be happening like we saw today.

Anyway next week will be a huge test with Oregon. Good chance to show they should be taken seriously.

Definitely a big test. Oregon is no Michigan, but if this Buffs team is going to convince anyone they're legit they can't go up there and lose a close one. They need to win this game. I'm proud of the way they hung with Michigan despite so many special teams mistakes. It really wasn't until they lost their QB that the game ended. If Liufau is ready to go against Oregon I give them a shot at bouncing back and getting the season back on track. If not, this may be just another 5-7 team waiting to happen. I'll remain cautiously optimistic but understandably cynical until they prove they're legit.

They almost ran the Wolverines off the field. Three TDs giving up in the Punt game - I don't think I've ever see that result.

The Buffs have depth needs - Montez is not ready - hopefully Sefo makes it back soon.

They lost but Colorado is better then I thought. I'd up my prediction on the win total, especially after a few of these teams I had them losing to haven't been exactly impressive.
