Crazy or not so crazy strategy?

Normally I would never draft with this strategy and in over 20 years of FFB I never have but I'm in a 2QB league with 6pt per passing TD and 1 pt per completion and am toying with drafting 2 with my first 4 picks. Something like QB, RB, RB, QB or QB, RB, WR, QB. I'm just thinking the top QBs are going to score too many points to not not try this strategy.

I think a lot of people do that. Some go back to back in the first two rounds.
As with all drafts, the whole is what counts.

I think 2 in the first 4 rounds might be a problem.
That kind of scoring favors the QB ridiculously.
Think you need to go your first 2 picks are upper tiered QB.

How many teams?
Is there a limit on QB on your roster?

Yeah, that's severely skewed towards QB's. Go early and often. Baker Mayfield is worth more than any RB2 or WR2

Was even more skewed until he got rid of the 300 and 400 yd bonus pts. I suggested he get rid of the 2nd QB spot and add a super flex but he declined. I also requested he add another IR slot which he declined that as well and I asked him in place of that to add another bench spot but it was no.

Adding super flex doesn’t change anything.

If QB is eligible to be played in that spot, QB should always be played in that spot.

Yep id be targeting qb round 1-2. And at least one high end back up

Easy strategy really.... Don't 2nd guess it when the scoring is setup to massively favor the QBs in a 2-QB league.

QB-QB-RB is what I'd aim for. Possibly QB-RB-QB if I'm in a good position to land the guys I like.

And make sure you adjust the value of your QBs based on VOLUME upside. Look at team stats for attempts & completions... These are the teams that like to throw more, but that's obviously not the end-all since you'll need to have a fair understanding of those teams' schemes, skillsets, & what might have happened last season. But this investigation will put some perspective on some players... And for me, it puts some red flags on guys that are getting a lot of hype this offseason.

Just beware of the mock grades.
Most mocks are not adjusted for 2QB leagues. So if they grade the mock, you might get a D for passing on the RB and WR. Dont let the grade influence your strategy.

And they certainly aren't set up to account for 1 pt per completion

Any kind of 2 QB league, you should have 2 QBs in your first 3 picks. I also try to get two more for my bench in the next 5 or 6 picks.
