I saw this on espn a few minutes ago and I thought it was interesting. One of the guys said Gurley, his position was that you can get more out of Gurley because he's a RB and can get the ball 20-30 times a game. The other guy took Cooper because although you can only get the ball to him 10 times a game, most of those will be big plays.

Honestly, I'd take Cooper. Reason number one is because I'm a homer, but the second reason is that I think good running backs are easier to come by than a dominant WR. The WR is going to make it much easier on the QB when he's the type of guy that can not only get open, but still make plays in one on one or even two on one situations.

Neither. I'd build it around a bad ass offensive line.

I would rather build my team around big nasty DL's and OL's.

Cooper.

At least he's the statistical leader in his position.

Gurley - The reason being a wr requires a QB and oline while the rb only requires the oline.

However, I think Cooper is better at his position than Gurley is at his position.

You are all wrong. It's a trick question.

You are supposed to say BOTH, because they are both SEC players.

I take Gurley (for the record I would have also taken Trent Richardson over Cooper) because a game changing back is becoming more and more scarce. Since the draft stock of running backs has been going down I think we are going to see the better athletes switch position from RB and that is going to be interesting.

My guess in the future the Todd Gurley's will be playing somewhere else on the field by choice.

Gurly is good, but I'd rather have Ameer at RB. Not being a flat out homer either, I honestly think Ameer is a more complete back than Gurly. Gurly imo is more physical and bigger, but Ameer is more complete when running in between the tackles and outside/catching passes from the back field etc.

Gurley is the best back in this nation and the gap in which he leads that is by a large margin and this is coming from someone who hates Georgia.

Neither. I'd build it around a bad ass offensive line.

this.

In today's football, with the pussified rules against the defense, and the fantasy football angle, all anyone watches are the skill players.

A good football team is STILL built from the inside out. If you dont have a good line, one good running back or one good receiver aint gonna help you.

That being said, if I had an offensive line, I'd definitely, positively take Gurley.
