There are three teams that have a better conference record than one of the two participating in the CCG--Temple (8-4, 7-1), Troy (9-3, 7-1), Washington St (10-2, 7-2). That's the problem with having divisions and 11+teams. We're not guaranteed the "best" two teams. The Big XII model works.

Michigan is also 10-2 and Penn State 9-3 but not in the conference championship game (NW 8-4). Buckeyes have already beaten both of those teams.

I would prefer no divisions and the best two teams in the CCG. The only thing better than beating Michigan would be beating them twice in the same year.

Looks like with a UGA win 3 conferences will get left out. That'd be pretty funny.
