And Holy Crap, I just noticed it was the next feature after Slap Shot 2.

I have no idea if I will ever watch it, but it will be in my library.

I will now have all of the Slap Shot movies covered. I might even watch the second one...

And frustration ensues.
After 13 years of use the belt on my John Deere mower broke yesterday.

Look to the left of the spring marked "B." There is a pulley, then before going into the left belt shield marked "A" there is an UNMARKED bracket going over the belt.
Nowhere in the instructions does it identify the bracket, nor does it say to remove it.
But it MUST be removed or you cannot put on the new belt (or take off the old frayed belt).

To make matters more frustrating, the belt shields and this mystery bracket are all bolted to the mower deck with Carriage bolts. Carriage bolts!! When the nut turns, so does the carriage bolt! Nice engineering.

Watched Toy Story 3 with the wife yesterday.
In one scene where the toys are planning an escape, it's said:

"If you don’t take out that Monkey, you ain’t goin’ nowhere. ...Get ridda that Monkey!"​

good night for the NHL draft, Blues have a big trade piece in Shattenkirk, a handful of STL youth hockey players projected to go in the 1st round, getting about as excited for the NHL draft as I've ever been. Seems to be even more of a crap shoot then the other pro sports leagues once you get outside the top few guys.

its going to be special but i think pick 4 could be the pick that stirs the pot

Fn Edmonton have drafted nothing but forwards at the top for years and now pick 4 that they own crys out to take Tkachuk or Dubois so do they move the pick or skip the value at 4 and take a needed D
i think if they pass on Tkachuk or Dubois they are making a grave error as these to players should excel above anyone drafted after them

of course only time will tell

There's a Slap Shot double header on cable tonight that I'm recording. The first one is a classic. That pretty much goes without saying.

However...I never knew there was a Slap Shot 2: Breaking the Ice.

Starring iconic Hollywood psychos Gary Busey and Stephen Baldwin, no less. I'd imagine the Hanson Brothers are in it as well, or what would be the point?

Seriously, with that lunatic cast it has to at least have some moments, right?

Pretty steep prices for my taste. Especially for fictitious hockey players.

About a week ago, my sister got Andre Dawson's autograph. And all she had to do was buy a $12 minor league ticket to the Joliet (IL) Slammers game.
