Doob's take
Sid vs Nathan MacKinnon, Cole Harbour's finest. Both will want something to prove to their home town and I believe both will make an impact. Patrick Roy has the Avs playing at a very high level right now and this is probably the toughest team the Pens have faced to day. I expect a very close game but in the end I expect the Pens to prevail 3-2.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that Varly must be carrying a lot of the load for the Avs early this year...because that defense lineup leaves a bit to be desired.

Engo still being on the wing is simply an atrocity. My only guess is they're trying to move him (someone has to go), so they're, I dunno, showing his versatility.

I think Patrick Roy has implemented a good defensive system. This is why he's my pick for Jack Adams so far this season.
