Yeah I forget that Texas A&M has beaten Prairie View A&M, Arky, South Carolina, Tennessee, New Mexico State so far this season. They still have Miss State, Ole Miss and Texas- San Antonio still on the it schedule. I see some little sisters of the poor on Texas A&M schedule this season. The SEC is down this year.

If you think their rankings are linear you haven't followed the last two years. I'd say after beating Cal on the road and USC at home they would likely jump them even if A&M beats both Miss state and old miss just because of USC.

This time of year the SEC is always down. Because we almost all have at least 1 loss. We have OOC scheduled late so that we have a chance to A) rest, and B) not go into the final rankings beating the snot out of each other.

And somehow the other conferences STILL haven't figured out how that works.

The way I see it, two P5 teams are fighting for one slot, the first thing I'm going to look at is who doesn't have a loss. Washington goes in the slot. No need to look further. When a win is trumped by other factors, the system is fucked.

No one would find that bold. They would say "no losses and champs vs 1 loss and not champ" and the conversation would be over.

Then they would say "undefeteated and beat a P5 school vs 1 loss and beat UTSA" and the conversation would be over. SoS takes a huge hit for A&M at that game.

A&M has played only 2 OOC games as of now. We win the SoS battle until UTSA
