OU has a punchers chance regardless but realistically, brooks has been dinged up(the starting rb) and losing Stevenson means they have to use a below average backup and a true freshman who couldn’t beat out a juco. Losing Ronnie Perkins is arguably one of the best players on the entire team. Definitely the best player on the defensive side. I didn’t expect OU to win this but man, not gonna lie, it definitely will take some of the excitement out of the game knowing that OU just doesn’t have any depth and will get exposed all day long.

Honestly, I say cut all the players who fucked up. It’s one thing if it’s October or something but the week before the playoffs? Fuckem, make an example out of them. Perkins would have potentially been a late first to a second round pick.

Okahoma coach Lincoln Riley addressed talk that several Sooners would be suspended for Dec. 28 Peach Bowl against LSU.

“I’m aware of the report that’s out there but unfortunately at this time, I cannot comment on it,” Riley said.

SoonerScoop.com reported Wednesday that several players would be suspended for the game, including running back Rhamondre Stevenson, defensive end Ronnie Perkins and wide receiver Trejan Bridges.

Riley was asked directly about Stevenson early in his Wednesday press conference, as a follow-up to a question about Kennedy Brooks’ status.

Brooks was hurt late in OU’s Big 12 Championship Game win over Baylor.

“Kennedy Brooks will play,” Riley said as a direct response to the question about Stevenson.

Later Riley was asked about Perkins’ status and declined comment.
