It's better than all that though. Republicans have been shifting money to Trump for all the defense so they don't have a lot of money by comparison. For any national candidate. And Trump may run as an independant. I read that 3 state level GOP coffers are nearly empty. One stat I saw said that Trump's campaign has 11m for the next election. By comparison Joe has over 100.

I'll have to look through my history and see if I can find the article. I consume a lot of news.
