They shouldn’t be that high. They weren’t in playoff. 5th maybe. My biggest gripe though is Texas a&m off of 7 lossessurprised bama is not 2nd.

Some of it is based off last season. Alabama has question marks after Bryce Young at qb. Let’s hear your basis on why they deserve to be 3rd?By THAT philosophy, TCU should be in the top 4.
But,given that it's for the NEW season, not the old, places should reflect that.

The jokes on you. You are too stupid to realize that he is talking about USC, Washington, Utah, Oregon, and Oregon State!!!

Alabama has 3-4 recruiting classes that ranked either 1or 2.
Translation: they have arguably the best roster in the nation not named Georgia. Both schools are starting new QB’s.
Last time I checked, this is a line of scrimmage game, and no one is better up front than Bama and Georgia.
All either team needs is solid, consistent, mostly mistake free football from the QB position.
Outside of Cam Newton and Joe Burrough, name an elite QB from the SEC that won a NC.
I mean.. the most elite college QB of all time won a NC from the SEC
So did Matt Mauck, Chris Leak, Matt Flynn, Greg McElroy, and AJ McAaron.
None of which set the world on fire.
My point was, those teams didn’t need elite QB play to win a Natty.
I don’t agree about Clemson - I think their main problem since Lawrence’s departure has been their QB play, Uiagalelei is not a very good QB IMO, now that he’s gone and Klubnik is in, I expect far superior QB play for Clemson - plus they have an excellent rushing attack and a strong defense. I am picking Clemson to make the playoff. I think it’s Florida St that’s kind of overrated.Flip Clemson and Oregon and it's good. I have zero faith in Clemson anymore

I think Clemson is about perfect in their ranking. I think they end the season ranked around #8-#12, losing 2-3 games this season.
