Yah, lot of people were saying Jeudy, but the Broncos offense is pretty bleh at the moment. He wouldn't have gotten much in return. Meanwhile the Broncos D is playing very good, so Chubb was going to command good stock in return (which they got).

I still think the Dolphins won that trade, but the Broncos didn't get destroyed by it. I didn't think they'd get a first rounder.

I think the initial asking price was two first rounders. The only red flag with Chubb is his injury history. He's an incredibly talented young player.

I believe he's a free agent after the season which also played into their decision to trade him. After all the money they gave Russ, they probably figured they couldn't retain him.

Yup they only had 10 million in effective cap space next year so they would have had to do some cap juggling to sign Chubb.
