Not a bad season for a team that started out the year with a big question mark at QB, a mostly brand-new o-line, an all but ineffective secondary, and a non-existent pass-rush.

#1 recruiting class 6 years in a row. That's reloading, not rebuilding. Wasn't Sims a 5th year Sr? Stop being a drama queen. Plus Bama plays in the shitty West division, so that helps out, too.

1. Didn't recruit good corners.
2. Sims didn't start until his fifth year for a reason. He's decent, but not good.
3. Didn't recruit effective pass-rushers.
4. O-line is young and inexperienced.

Can't argue with results, which plainly bear those out, and even you should be able to see it by now.
