thats fantastic!

mosi tatupu once averaged 5.4 YPC over a 3 year span. one year he led the nfl at 5.5 per.

That's not a career, that's a blip. All-time NFL career record by a decent margin over Jim Brown at 5.5 per.

Not knocking Priest, he had a huge 3-4 year run for the Chiefs where he was nearly the entire offense (with help from Tony G, of course).

I must be missing the context.

Cassel inherited one of the most talented teams of all time in NE and Green had a Swiss cheese defense when he went 7-9
Charles in 2010 nearly had the same YPA as Matt Cassel did for much of the 2010 season as I recall. You normally don't see RB's putting up Jim brown-like YPCs in modern football.

I wouldn't sell that OL short. It had prime Brian Waters, Wiegman, and also Willie Roaf and Will Shields.

thats...not true at all. sammy morris was their leading rusher. oh wait, you're one of those "they had 31 year old randy and wes welker" while overlooking the defense too huh?

deltha oneal, lewis and james sanders and brandon merriweather lol

I mean...Cassel played for the Chiefs. This isnt rocket science. Green > Cassel.

he made a probowl there, and had a better statistical year in KC than here. then that playoff "performance"...

sacked half as many times too. such a slow delivery...

You and I both know how soft the 2010 schedule was for the Chiefs that year. And Cassel in no other year since has replicated anything close to it. In 2010 his YPA was for much of the season close with Charles YPC of well over 6; and we're it not for a meaningless week 17 game with the Raiders- Charles owns the all time single season YPC year in 2010. All kinds of fluke and outlier alarm bells for Cassel apply here.

oh, i know. im just saying he made a probowl there and had a good statistical year compared to NE. i watched him here for years in preseason and mop up, then 2008 came.

Nick Foles was a badass for a year, too.

Cassel career YPA: 6.6, 11.2 per catch
Green career YPA: 7.6, 12.6 per catch

Cassel career sack %: 7.1%
Green career sack %: 6.5%

Pass. Need to spend money on more pressing issues.
Agreed. But I heard rumors of Seattle maybe looking at AP. It all comes down too money. Rumors abound about Rawls. No one sure what Prossie can/will do if he stays healthy? Lots of decent RBs in the draft as well.

Someone will over pay for his services plus I don't think he wants to split carries. NYG and GB could make the most sense. I don't mind if Seattle drafts a RB as long as it's not in the top 4 rounds.

He'd be a good fit in either of those offenses. I think he may be realizing sharing carries extends your career and keeps you fresh.

I would hope so- considering that has been quite bluntly his entire career once he got meaningful snaps; to the point where he is criticized for not getting enough carries...

Agreed, Giants or Packers sign him for two years and draft his eventual replacement in this draft. That's my not so bold prediction to start the year off.
