That was a TD. NFL finally gets one right.

Guy catches the ball and takes 3 steps in the endzone and then gets tackled and the ball comes loose and there is still a question as to whether it is a TD.

NFL rules killing the game as well.

I've seen guys take six steps it seems and the NFL says no TD. By the letter of the rule it was a INT. My feelings are possession and steps across the goal line is TD and play dead at that point.

I still say it's a make up call.

I actually had to edit quickly on my post. I felt a INT also. One that would fall completely on Tate.

Stafford is playing in one of his three good games a season today.
I turned it on right as the Bears kicked off to us. Was impressed with Staffs run for a first and a couple passes that drive.

Then that lil cocksucker coughs it up in the end zone. Refs can say what they want, I'm holding that play against 15 till he's gone. Which hopefully is ten games away.

"establish himself as a runner" is the key part of the rule. It's still subjective. But his 3rd foot(step) hit the ground before it came loose. That should be good enough. Obviously, not in the end zone it's a fumble.

Because week to week New York changes the interpretation of the rule. Just said complete opposite with Devonta Freeman against the Rams.

I felt both were TD's.... But the way the rule reads, neither were. NFL rules have to much human opinion involved.

I think it was an interception, but since he went 1 yard into the endzone with it they ruled that he secured the ball, the play was dead, and then the ball came out.

Best post of the week. Brings a great scouting outlook to the board.
Hell yeah he does! Great info as always from Big Lar on the up and comers.

Kenny G was funny too.

Cuz as a casual fan, I enjoy the nonsense as much as the football conversation.

I agree Waz... Just that subjective part gets looked at different each week. Drives me crazier than watching Stafford week to week.

Ameer sees Cutlers pick and raises him a fumble.

I wouldn't be upset if he gets cut in the offseason either. Can't build your team around a guy that puts it on the ground every game. (I believe that's six fumbles now.)

That was a bad draft pick.

It was a terrible draft pick. Coleman should be our main RB.

Fucking Mayhew....

I can't watch with shitty team without getting pissed.

His replacement is weak and is injury prone.

Which part of the rule ? He has to "establish himself as a runner". That's the only aspect in question with respect to the rule... whether he did or didn't. There's no more precise explanation of what that means in the rules as far as I know. It's subjective. He has to get 2 feet down, too, which he did. He got 3 down.
