That was a TD. NFL finally gets one right.
Guy catches the ball and takes 3 steps in the endzone and then gets tackled and the ball comes loose and there is still a question as to whether it is a TD.
NFL rules killing the game as well.
The way referees are deciding games these days, I wouldn't be surprised to see them give Detroit this one.
I turned it on right as the Bears kicked off to us. Was impressed with Staffs run for a first and a couple passes that drive.I actually had to edit quickly on my post. I felt a INT also. One that would fall completely on Tate.
Stafford is playing in one of his three good games a season today.
He's finally posting again.
Hope that continues.
I've seen guys take six steps it seems and the NFL says no TD. By the letter of the rule it was a INT. My feelings are possession and steps across the goal line is TD and play dead at that point.
I still say it's a make up call.
Why do these idiots keep talking about going to the ground ?
Hell yeah he does! Great info as always from Big Lar on the up and comers.Best post of the week. Brings a great scouting outlook to the board.
Hey, what are you trying to say?
"establish himself as a runner" is the key part of the rule. It's still subjective. But his 3rd foot(step) hit the ground before it came loose. That should be good enough. Obviously, not in the end zone it's a fumble.
Ameer sees Cutlers pick and raises him a fumble.
I wouldn't be upset if he gets cut in the offseason either. Can't build your team around a guy that puts it on the ground every game. (I believe that's six fumbles now.)
That was a bad draft pick.
Because week to week New York changes the interpretation of the rule. Just said complete opposite with Devonta Freeman against the Rams.
I felt both were TD's.... But the way the rule reads, neither were. NFL rules have to much human opinion involved.
Afrasheen finally makes a play on the ball after giving up a big play
