Jefferson's jumpers are nice, but I wish he was getting and-ones down low. That's how you impose your will more.

What are the odds that you get a Stockton and a Malone on the same team then? Or, maybe it was just a different era. If you read the Sloan thread, there was a story about Jerry playing with broken ribs.

I don't think it was a different era. You have to think about all of the players in that era that weren't healthy, not just the few that were.

Look at the rosters and games played from other teams.

Here's New Jersey from 1985.

1984-85 New Jersey Nets Roster and Stats | Basketball-Reference.com

Birdsong played 56, games, King played 42, Darryl Dawkins played 39.

Al passes out of the double team, despite being hot. He's learned a lot here.

Sonic commercial, I could use some of their breaded cheese sticks right now. All the rest of their food is rubbish.

I've never had their food, only their Limeaids and Sonic Blasts. They're good.

You were right, Booz is a under appreciated passer. A few nice set ups I've noticed.

Boozer and Noah can also do high-low sets really well.

Boozer averaged 3 assists a game several years in his career.

crazy to see a big man knock em down like that though

I watched a Knicks-Pacers game from 1994 on NBA TV this past summer.

I made a note of all the big men that hit jumpers:

Rik Smits, Charles Oakley, Patrick Ewing, Charles Smith, Hubert Davis.

In the modern era, Love, Randolph, Boozer, Jefferson, Aldridge, West, Lee, Landry, Nowitzki, Garnett, Bosh, Haslem, are all pretty good.

I grew up in Iowa and before I found the Jazz, was a Knick fan. Oakley, Ewing versus Smits and Miller. That was a long time ago.

He would pass more if there was a guard that could make something happen and get open.
