Expect nothing less from the NFL than to let the cheatriots off the hook after blatant cheating. Rest assured that players round the legue will come for the legs of the cheatriots on the field - rightfully so. Take belicheats, krafts n bradys legs out

Brady suspended for 4 games, team fined one million and loss of a 1st round pick in 2016 and a 4th rounder in 2017. This sounds about right.

Sounds about right if NE dropped 40+ on your favorite team the last time the played.

I'm just glad that the league did something unless of course brady wins his appeal and the arbitrator gives him a free super bowl in 2016 for his inconvenience...haha! Wouldn't shock me though...

I think the NFL got it right. A 6 to 8 game suspension would have been too harsh. A 2 game suspension would have been way too lenient for a player that not only broke a rule of the game but didn't cooperate fully with the investigation. His suspension was not for a bad off field decision. What he did could effect the game itself. If he were honest from the beginning it probably would have been much better for him yet he chose to act ignorant about what happened. A 4 game suspension of Brady should get his attention. The loss of the two draft picks and the fine were necessary and correct also. The punishment sends a message to the owner, the coaches, and to Brady that there are consequences for their actions.

I believe that they did get it right and it would piss a lot of people off if they reduce it. If brady were smart he'd cut his losses and take his punishment like a man. He'd be better for it in the long run...

Brady and the Pats are making it worse for their public image especially nationally. It would be beyond weird to hear a man call himself deflator because of his weight. (He may do some deflating though after eating too many Boston Baked Beans but that's a different story altogether lol) He has probably been paid by the Pats to never speak of the issue again. The Pats must think that their fans are really gullible. The Pats fired the two men who they are now defending. That doesn't make sense either. The Pats had three options. 1) Be honest and it probably does not become as big of an embarrassment. 2) Make no comments and the issue goes away sooner. 3) Fight tooth and nail even when it makes them look ridiculous. They chose option 3. The Pats could have worked to change the rule about allowable air pressure. That would have been a lot more respectable. The Pats have a victim mentality. Do they really think rational people believe that the league would prefer to have the SB Champ involved in a scandal? I'm sure the NFL would have much preferred the fiasco would have never occurred. The Pats key figures have all played a part in making it worse. Brady, Belichick, & even Kraft.

Southieinnc,

May the best team win the division this year. To be the best a team will need to beat the best. If Brady was out the Pats would have a built in excuse. Because of that I am glad that he will be playing.
