CFP: You Think We'll Have a CFP This Year?

I would like to see Cincy or the Mormons get a shot just to see what happens. Could they hang? Could they possibly advance? It would be interesting to find out. Two very bad ass teams that do not play power schedules. BYU’s in particular is really poor this season through no fault of their own.

I think Cincy would get a shot before BYU. Cincys schedule is reasonably competitive for a G5 team. BYU played a dreadful schedule because most conferences went to conference only

Agreed. They lost their Power 5 opponents. That was a killer.

Aug-Apr = CFB and NHL.
May-Jul = MLB and MMA.

that's my breakdown lol. MMA is year round and if there aren't any good games on, I may still watch it over other sports. I used to train in MMA back in 2005-08, it was a HUGE part of my life for a while. I don't watch it like I used to, but still enjoy it.

Nothing comes even remotely close to comparing although I’ll start watching CBB heading into March, golf majors on the weekend, and men’s tennis majors once it gets down to about the semis. That’s it. Everything else isn’t worth my time.

wonder if the bowls actually want the games to take place.. very low attendance.. sure the tv money is there but outside the NY6.. bowls rely on the gate

They rely on the gate AND local sponsorship.. The local buisnesses pay for most of the expenses But what has surprised me
about the bowls playing is the crowds of people that they attract to the city. I can't see many fans traveling at all.
